About Us Title

Fair View Kindergarten and Nursery offers a wide variety of services for children aged from just a few months to twelve years - a Mother & Toddler Group, Day Nursery/Nursery School, After-School Club, and Holiday Play Schemes. Whatever your needs are, we aim to offer the care that you require.

Primarily, Fair View is a nursery that aims to offer your children a quality pre-school experience in a happy and secure environment and caters for children from 12 months to 5 years of age on either a full or part time basis. As it is purpose built we are able to provide the equipment and facilities for children with special needs.

Building BlocksThe pre-school period covers important formative years and your children are at an age when they are at their most receptive for learning new skills and knowledge, essential for the years ahead. To this aim we offer your children a wide variety of activities and experiences which will help them to develop to the best of their ability.

In order to succeed with the above, it is essential that the children are happy and relaxed with their surroundings. The high ratio of staff to children that we provide intends to offer support and security to them all. We organise activities and projects which we know will lead to their learning. We will talk to them whilst they play, reinforcing what they are learning and encourage them to talk back to us. We encourage them to do things for themselves and to help others.

Pots of paintThe Kindergarten is well equipped with toys, games, art and craft materials, writing materials, sand and water apparatus etc. Daily activities include drawing and painting, model making, cooking, singing, free play and games. We are fortunate to have a qualified teacher available to encourage the children with the more formal educational activities when it is felt they are ready for the more structured approach.

Above all, we hope they will make friends, become relaxed and confident in the group, learn how to learn and have lots of fun.
